About
Meet Marine Atlan, director of the film La Gradiva, on Tuesday 10 November at the Ciné-Montrouge! Did you know that the Lycée Maurice-Genevoix in Montrouge inspired a film that won an award at the Cannes Film Festival? A former pupil of the school, Marine Atlan drew on her teenage memories to make her first feature-length film, La Gradiva, winner of the Grand Prix of the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes in 2026. The film follows a group of high school students on a school trip to Naples, caught up in first loves, doubts and discoveries. To develop her screenplay and capture the concerns of today's young people, the director even went back to the benches of her former school, in Montrouge, to exchange views with some thirty pupils! On Tuesday 10 November, she will be at the Ciné-Montrouge to talk with audiences after the screening. A great opportunity to discover behind the scenes of this film, which has a very special connection with our town!
