Think without filters
One Friday a month, the Médiathèque transforms into an agora. No podium, no formal lecture. Just a table, chairs, and people willing to think out loud together.
Behind this regular meet-up is Bruno Magret. A philosopher-practitioner, trainer and socio-cultural facilitator, he is one of the pioneers of Nouvelles Pratiques Philosophiques in France and one of the initiators of the Café Philo movement, born in the wake of Marc Sautet. For years, he has taken his approach into very different contexts (philosophical consultations, training, workshops) with an unwavering conviction: philosophy is not reserved for the initiated. It belongs to anyone willing to ask questions.
At the Médiathèque's Café philo, it is the participants who choose the topics. You give your first name, not your job title. You speak if you want to, you listen if you prefer. Differences in culture and age are not an obstacle but an asset. And in the end, you rarely leave with certainties. But always with new questions to explore.
