All audiences. Robert and his wife have never set foot in a theatre. One evening, their cousin, the director of the venue, invites them to dinner on the stage. Table set, audience opposite, fine wine. They sit down. And without knowing it, they are performing theatre. These are the two characters imagined by François Cervantes, author and director who has spent forty years working for those who never cross the threshold of a theatre. He admits he makes theatre for his Spanish family, who farm the land and have never been to one. Catherine Germain and Julien Cottereau, both clowns and mimes, play this couple with a precision that disarms. It is funny, touching, and it feels like life.
